We’re pleased to announce the addition of retired AP sportswriter Hal Bock as a regular contributor to this blog. Bock, who offers a first-person reflection on his career under the “Talkin’ with the Pros” section of this web page, has agreed to regularly contribute his Bock’s Score column to the site. His inaugural column, about the unlikelihood of Mariano Rivera being a unanimous choice for election to the baseball Hall of Fame, can be found immediately above. Bock, who covered 30 World Series and 30 Super Bowls in a 40-plus year career with the AP, also publishes his work on the website, NY Sports Day.
